I‘m Elizabeth, aka Litzy, a user experience and interface designer working in higher education. I enjoy creating well organized, user centered, and engaging design systems at Indiana Tech. I love data, design, accessibility, and technology.
In Fall 2019 I will be pursing my MFA in Web Design and New Media at Academy of Art University. The program is a mix of web design, UX/UI, user testing, video and coding. I am pretty excited to be diving into new design concepts and exercising my coding muscles.
I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients from startups and local small businesses such as Ted's Market to bigger industry based work such as Specialty Insurance Group, Rinker Boats, and Bravo Trailers.
Sketching out ideas often is a good way to communicate ideas before working digital. Digital can often feel very rigid and “final”. Sketching out ideas invites collaboration and feedback immediately without the time sank into a digital draft. When you’re working in a fast paced environment, often just sketching out a wireframe during a meeting is enough to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Off the clock I drink an unhealthy amount of coffee. When I am not designing and building rad websites, I am playing board games.
